Geography occupies a central place in understanding and explaining issues that affect people, places and environments, as well as changes over time and space. Through the study of geography, students can understand the causes and effects of change on the natural and human environment, think logically and express orderly and coherent arguments in a variety of ways, and realize the importance of geographical analysis for understanding and solving contemporary human and environmental problems.

Subject goals

- Understand the main elements of physical and human geography and their interdependence

- Study the causes and effects of spatial and temporal change on the environment

- Understand the nature, value, limitations and importance of different methods of analysis and interpretation in geography

- Exercise about the collection, recording, processing, presentation, analysis and interpretation of geographic data

- Master the development of rational methods for presenting structured, coherent and evidence-based arguments.
